Wedding photography at The Astorian

The Astorian sits in a 1900s landmark in the Heights — once the headquarters of an automobile-paint company, later the sculpture studio of David Adickes. Fourteen thousand square feet of stained concrete, rusted steel, brass, and a thirty-five-foot mosaic running the length of the bar.

What I shoot for here: the late light through the floor-to-ceiling windows, the downtown skyline behind a first dance, the twelve-foot gold clock keeping the room. Two photographers, the whole day, on digital and 35mm film.

The photographs throughout this page are from Andrea & Jordan's wedding in the building.

A few of the weddings I’ve photographed in the building.

Where your love story lives on.

We are curious artists always seeking for those beautiful connections in fleeting moments.
