Write a few lines about the day. The venue, the date, the people you want remembered. You hear back from Joseph, not an assistant.
A letter written for the day, not a menu. The hours, the rooms, film or digital, travel, delivery, and one number. Twelve commissions a year means each one is written from scratch.
Joseph, mostly on film, nothing rushed. One photographer by design; past two hundred and fifty guests, a second.
A first selection comes back first. The rest follows once the film is developed and scanned at Richard Photo Lab in Los Angeles. Planners get the whole gallery, never a vendor cut.
One location, up to twenty-five guests, a few hours of the day.
One venue or two, from getting ready through the last dance.
The welcome dinner, the wedding, the day after. Destination and international.
Commissions are quoted in conversation, not published as a list. The number arrives in the proposal, written for your day.
Houston and Austin by the day. Marfa, the Hill Country, Palm Springs, San Miguel de Allende, Antigua and further by the weekend. Travel is written into the proposal.
