after visiting the beaches of Normandy, and the American Cemetery and Memorial i am a firm believer that every American should visit Normandy. every one of us. i’ve never felt more appreciation for everything i have than while walking through the field of graves; imagining what each and every man and woman buried here COULD have done with their life. children? grandchildren? inventors? photographers? instead, they gave their life for many. never forget.
